Sonamó
BIO
Sonamó is a San Francisco funk band with an Italian backbone, blending Mediterranean melodies, jazz, and Latin and Afrobeat rhythms. Led by vocalist and keyboardist Giuseppe “Pino” Pinto, the band combines saxophone, guitar, keys, bass, and drums in a sound built for dancing.
Their album Eclectic Radio captures that musical range, from “Ma Che Vuó” to “Switch It Off” and “Per Te.” Live sets center on original songs, with selected tributes reimagined through Sonamó’s grooves and arrangements.
